Video Magazine is a DVD series that is put out by pro
wakeboarder Scott Jobe. Each DVD features different unrelated
chapters of various wakeboarders riding in different places,
and doing all kinds of different things. The advantage
of this video format is that each issues contains a huge
amount of riders, and Scott Jobe can put out each issue
faster than normal videos come out. Issue #1 is the first
in the Current Video Magazine series, so it's a great
place to start your collection of the video magazines

Backyard
films frontman Jack Blodgett took a different approach
to his long awaited 2nd film release. "I wanted to
make a video not based on one trip or one week of filming,
but to have a film showcasing all of my best friends talents,
at there own house, hanging out together freeriding."
And this is where Reflections evolved from, filmed in
locations such as Bakersfield, California, Glide, Oregon
and Orlando, Florida. Bringing together 25 of the sports
most influential riders giving you a film dedicated to
inspire the industry and future riders to come. Highlights
include Wakeboarding Magazine's helicopter shoot in Oregon,
Ricky Gonzalez's Moby Dick 540, Keith Lyman's unique explosive
style of riding, and Aaron Reed's wakeskating ability
that proves he deserved being named Rider of the Year
from Alliance Magazine.Reflections is available only on
DVD and has a running time of 45 minutes, plus additional
bonus footage of bikini contests, teasers, slideshows,
and more.

Sean
Kilgus, the creator of My Side and The Concussion Project,
has created another top of the line film, Running on Empty.
There is some great helicopter footage in Keith Lyman's
part. Keith's part is "bangin', sooo good!" according
to Kilgus. This is the some of the best wakeskating footage
of Aaron Reed for his part. Sean says that Chad Sharpe's
part "is like a Parks part in a Sidewayz video."
Chad Sharpe has his best video part to date. Chad's section
has him doing every trick he can do and massive off the
double ups; 70 percent of his section is off the double
up. Danny Harf's sections style good double ups. Andrew
Adkinson with what may be his defining video part throwing
down everything in the book, in the words of Sean, Andrew
is "one of the best tech riders out there, he has his
own style and own way of doing tricks." There is lots
of good local stuff too. Rusty Malinowski, "this kid
will blow you away with some of the sickest riding of the
video, massive double ups, he has potential to be rookie
of the year next year." There's also a bunch of cameos
from all the other big guys. One of the coolest things about
the video is that it has lots of locations all over the
states: Norhern California, Florida, Oregon, Washington,
Montana, and more.
